Step 1: Open VirtualBox

I believe that after installation of macOS Catalina, the VirtualBox is open. However, if it is not running. Then you have to open VirtualBox.

Step 2: Copy Name of Virtual Machine

When you will open VirtualBox. Then you have to copy the name of Catalina operating system which you have written in installation.

Step 3: Turn off Catalina VirtualBox

Further, to make changes on VirtualBox. You have to turn it off. There are two way to turn off VirtualBox.

First, you simply click on Catalina Windows and click on close icon. Further, you will see Close Virtual Machine windows. Then you have to select Power off the machine and click on OK.

However, this procedure is not completely OK. Because, there might be some application which are running. Therefore, There is the possibility that the application will crush when you will start again. Therefore, you should go to second method.

Second, You have to click on Apple icon. Then click on Shutdown. Next, a windows will appear for the confirmation to shutdown. Therefore, you have to click on OK.

Further, you have to completely close VirtualBox.

Step 4: MacOS Catalina Screen Resolution Code

Next, you have add some command prompt code. Therefore, you have to copy the code below

Now open Notepad and paste it on Notepad. Further, you have two information here. Where you have to change it according to your requirement. First, the name macOS Catalina. You can find the name from the step 2 and replace that with macOS Catalina. Second resolution 1920×1080 which you are going to change.

Step 5: Open CMD Command Prompt

It is a time to add these commend. Therefore, you have to open CMD. For that you have to Press Windows Key on keyboard. Then you have to write CMD. Once you will see Command Prompt. Then you have to right-click on it and click on Run as adminitrator.

Step 6: VirtualBox Location

Further, you will see a black window will appear. Then you have to copy the command from below and paste it on Command Prompt. Next you have to press Enter.

Now you have to copy the command which you have changed from step 4 and paste that in Command Prompt. Then press Enter.

Congratulation right now you have just changed the macOS Catalina resolution to 1920×1080.

Step 8: Add all Resolution:

If you want to add all other resolution as well then you have to repeat Step 4 and replace 1920×1080 to the resolution given below one by one. Then, you will get all the resolution for your macOS Catalina on VirtualBox.

Step 9: Fix macOS Catalina Screen Resolution

Now you have to turn on VirtualBox and start macOS Catalina. If you have done everything correctly. Then after sign in. You will see, it will work with preferred resolution.

However, you will still see macOS Catalina on windows view. Therefore, you have to change it to full screen. Moreover, you have to click on View from top menu on VirtualBox. Then you have to click on Full-screen Mode. Therefore, you will it will cover up entire screen.

Step 10: Check macOS Catalina Screen Resolution

However, if you want check and change screen resolution. Then you have click on Apple icon. There is option for About This Mac. Click on it.

You will see a new window. There are different tab. Therefore, you have to click on Display.
